| Hello, My Name is Abenna Kelman, I'm sixteen and a Jr at Benjiman Banneker Academy. I started photography about two years ago at ICP (international Center For Photographer) and began black and white teen photo classes with a manual camera (pentax k1000). I've had the chance to develop my own picture and film in the dark room. The experience is something you would never forget and I loved it. From that day on I've never stopped. I tried color photography and it was fun but i wasn't in love with it. However, color photography was a good experience nonetheless. Digital photography is something new to me. On my 16th birthday, my mom gave me a Nikon D60 and told me shoot. Honestly it took me months before I actually got what she meant. At first I was just taking pictures of my friends on the auto function. Then one night i sat down and start playing with the functions on the camera and discover I can do so much more. So here I am. |

Twelve significant photographs in any one year is a good crop.

You don't take a photograph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it.
